Kementerian Wilayah Persekutuan (KWP) or The Ministry of Federal Territory has moved from property-based GIS to Regional-based applications. Eight applications have been developed to respond to critical regional development issues. Kementerian Wilayah Persekutuan has embarked on developing a regional planning support system (RPSS) focussing on scenario building, measuring development impact and a tracking module to monitor and measure regional plan targets (including structure plans).To support the system, AGISwlk have develop 2 main applications: ILA and sectoral application.>> Details

Database

AGISwlk data is stored in a geodatabase data model which taking the advantage of DBMS. Hence, strengthen the whole data structure. AGISwlk uses Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as its DBMS due to its dynamic feature as well as its highly efficient storage, searching and modeling mechanism that can serve many users simultaneously.>> Details

Since the pilot project initiated in 1995, AGISwlk have involved in various seminars, conferences and workshops.
