PROMOTION & FORMAL EVENTS SECTION
As a focal point of the Ministry/agency in disseminating and chanelling information at Ministry/national and global levels;
Plan and execute activities to enhance the corporate image of the Ministry/Agency;
To plan, coordinate and execute Communication plan/promotion/publicity programme and goals of Ministry/Agency;
To plan and carry out impact assessment studies on effectiveness of the communication system of the Ministry/Agency;
To plan, design and provide ICT related multimedia materials such as buntings, posters, pamphlets, montage and etc; and
To provide, carry out and monitor System Development SOP.
To plan, coordinate and publish materials;
To coordinate and manage preparation and carry out Federal Territories Day Celebrations;
To coordinate and manage preparation and carry out Meet the Honorable Minister/Y.Bhg. KSU/Y.BHG.TKSU Day Event; and
To coordinate and manage preparation and carry out other formal events such as KWP Monthly Gathering, MaalHijrah, Prophet’s Birthday, Labour Day and etc.
STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS, MEDIA MANAGEMENT , CUSTOMER & COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT SECTION
To clarify Ministry/Agency policies;
To plan and execute public relations programmes;
To plan and handle communications with the media;
To prepare draft speech for the Minister/Deputy Minister/KSU;
To prepare material or information for Ministry/Agency portal;
To advise on Ministry/Agency programmes, notes to editor/media release and provide advisory service to the media in making coverage; and
Manage and carry out briefings on functions and roles of the Ministry/Agency.
To plan, manage, execute and monitor all customer related matters;
To manage, monitor and coordinate all complaints received;
To prepare and coordinate answers to complaints and suggest appropriate measures to be taken, to monitor and supervise effectiveness of public complaints system;
To monitor issues relating to the Ministry/Agency in the mass media;
To plan, coordinate and execute customer satisfaction studies;
To advise customers relating to services available;
To advise on services that should be given to the customer; and
To coordinate official visits.
